REMEMBERING MARILYN

Sitting around the table with my family, we were cooking food for some holiday so everybody was there, we were laughing, making fun of each other, telling new stories and remembering those of days gone by.  I look over at my sister Marilyn and I say, hey I had a dream last night that you were pregnant.  She says well that can't be true because I am burnt and tied.  No more babies for me she says. Of course we all agreed that it couldn't be true. We get a good laugh and went back to our cooking and talking.

Cut to three weeks later. I get a jumbled phone call from my sibling, the phone is crackling and she is saying, I am at the hospital and ......the phone goes dead, bad connection.  She calls back and says, I am at the hospital and they are telling me that I have a tubal pregnancy and I have to have surgery!

At first my mind couldn't grasp what she was saying, and then when I put it all together, I just started laughing and laughing, and then she started laughing, and she says, I hate you. I said, still laughing, why do you hate me? I didn't get you pregnant! talk to your husband about that!
